CPA Gichuru has over twenty-three
years (23) of broad and diverse professional experience in the areas of
financial management, corporate planning, business analysis, internal audit,
controls, reviews and assurance. This experience has been drawn from audit
assignments undertaken, corporate undertakings in banks as well as parastatal
and Sacco society undertakings. He has excellent skills in people management,
leadership, mentoring and enjoys working with diverse teams.
CPA Gichuru is currently the
managing partner at GNM Accountants LLP (formerly Gichuru M and Company), a
business advisory and assurance Firm overseeing operations of the firm while
providing quality assurance to the audits undertaken as well as lead tax and
risk advisory business. Up to December 2020 he was the Finance and
Administration Manager at HF Group Limited where he was involved in financial
management and administrative functions while also a part-time Partner in
Gichuru M and Company.
He previous worked at Habib Bank
Ag Zurich, branch of a Swiss bank as Financial Controller where he provided
leadership for the Bank’s financial control function. He had also worked with
National Museums of Kenya as Senior Accountant and his initial work experience
was obtained at Mwalimu Sacco Society Limited as Assistant Accountant and
Assistant Internal Auditor.
He holds Bachelor of Commerce in
Accounting from the University of Nairobi. He is also a CPA (K) and a holder of
practicing license No. P/1452 and is a Certified Forensic Investigation
Professional (CFIP).
